Hi, well this week I thought I’d cover some of my personal cycling achievements over the past 2 years, plus some outstanding results of fellow Trailblazers “Hot Shots” to look out for in the coming season.

2008 1st 12 year old to compete and complete the 50km Noosa Enduro Mountain Bike
race.
2009 1st Junior and 2nd overall in Rumble in the Jungle Mountain Bike Race held

2009 1st Palmwoods to Montville D Grade Hill climb, Road Racing

2009 Bushranger Club Champion.
Last Sunday I was awarded the Bushranger Club Champion Trophy, after a gruelling 2hr 30 min (approx 45kms) bash through Mapleton State Forest. This award was an accumulation of general participation and consistent race results in the Sunshine Series, Noosa Enduro and the Bushrangers own Rumble in the Jungle. Unfortunately I flat tyred at the 2009 under 15 State Championships at Rockhampton but fellow Noosa Trailblazers shone by winning their respective categories.
Nathan King won the under 13 Qld XC Championship and Nickolas Dodd won the under 11 XC Championship. Rodger Manning also fell prey to multiple flat tyres in “Rocky” so we’re both in the market for tubeless tyres. Until next time, Love the Ride.
