Jack's New Training Aid
The past 4 months have seen some huge improvements in Jack. He has set himself some serious goals and is putting in the hard yards, on the bike and on the trainer. To help him on his way Jack has picked up a new road bike, a Scott Addict R2 supplied by Cognition. It looks great, check out the above link for a closer inspection and keep a look out for Jack on a road near you. Great job Jack keep up the hard work and a big thanks to Chris and Jane Jude for their support.
Jack Jude's Riding Column
Hi, well this week I thought I’d cover some of my personal cycling achievements over the past 2 years, plus some outstanding results of fellow Trailblazers “Hot Shots” to look out for in the coming season.
2007 Regular Bushranger Club rider
2008 2nd Qld under 13 Sunshine Series Mountain Bike
2008 1st Qld under 13 State Champion Mountain Bike
2008 3rd Australian National series under 15 round 2 Mountain Bike, Illinbah
2008 1st Qld under 13 State Team Time Trial Road Championships Gatton Qld
2008 1st 12 year old to compete and complete the 50km Noosa Enduro Mountain Bike
race.
2009 1st Junior and 2nd overall in Rumble in the Jungle Mountain Bike Race held
by Bushrangers Club at Parklands, Nambour
2009 1st Junior Noosa Enduro 50km Mountain Bike Race
2009 1st Palmwoods to Montville D Grade Hill climb, Road Racing
2009 1st Kunda Park Criterium D Grade Road Racing
2009 3rd Qld under 15 Sunshine Series Mountain Bike
2009 4th Open 2 Person Team 4 hour Weekend Warrior Endurance race Mountain Bike,
Kanungra Qld. Team Cognition Rodger Manning and Jack Jude
2009 Bushranger Club Champion.
Last Sunday I was awarded the Bushranger Club Champion Trophy, after a gruelling 2hr 30 min (approx 45kms) bash through Mapleton State Forest. This award was an accumulation of general participation and consistent race results in the Sunshine Series, Noosa Enduro and the Bushrangers own Rumble in the Jungle. Unfortunately I flat tyred at the 2009 under 15 State Championships at Rockhampton but fellow Noosa Trailblazers shone by winning their respective categories.
Nathan King won the under 13 Qld XC Championship and Nickolas Dodd won the under 11 XC Championship. Rodger Manning also fell prey to multiple flat tyres in “Rocky” so we’re both in the market for tubeless tyres. Until next time, Love the Ride.

Introduction to Jack Jude, Under 13's State Champion 2008, Our Sponsored Rider
Let me introduce myself, I'm a 13 year old Tewantin resident who attends year 8 at Noosa District High School. In the past I've enjoyed a sporting background which has included soccer, touch football and tennis but my real passion is mountain biking. My first real off road mountain bike adventure consisted of cycling down Spectator Track in Wooroi State Forest with my dad and a couple of my mates, when I was 8 years old. Back then I was on a 20" Huffy that was as heavy as. The thought of cycling up that track was not even on the horizon. As the years progressed and the equipment improved, I now enjoy all the technical challenges Wooroi presents.
Until next time, love the ride.
Six Pack Jack
